I am Back!!!

Well i am back finally !!! I always stop blogging right before summer but this time i stopped a lot sooner to help my fiend deal with her divorce and well since i did that i figured i would come back a little sooner then normal!!! I had a great summer with the kids and the hubby!!! I did teach myself how to crochet about a month ago but I'm still trying to remember the way to do certain stitches lol!!!! I know I'm back to my knitting and now crocheting! So i will be posting on a regular basis again!!! Bye for now!

Nothing new!

Well i have nothing new to report! Just been busy with kids and friends! My one girlfriend and her husband are getting a divorce and wow that's all i can say! I feel so bad for her! She doesn't even want the divorce but he does after 12 years hes ready to give up! Its funny cause i went to school with her and my husband went to school with him! My husband and him graduated together and me and her graduated together it was funny! They were the last of the high school loves besides me and my husband who are still together and now it is officially we are the only ones out of four sets of us me and my husband have lasted and still going strong so i have no worries! It will be 9 years for us in July so i am excited for us but i still feel sooooo bad for her!!! Well besides that there really isn't anything new to report, oh besides that i have been babysitting this little girl my dad and step mom adopted shes gonna be 5 in October and shes not even close to being potty trained aaaaaggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I cant believe it!!!!!! Better go and catch up on some reading!!!!

HAA! I did it !!!

Well i did it i turned a heel now i am just finishing up my sample sock! No picture yet but as soon as i am finished i will post a picture! Now be warned it is a sample sock so its a bright orange!! over this past weekend i knit 2 scarves one for my sister D & one for my sister B! They loved them because not only were they cute but matching! Also i had finished them in about 1 day i started Friday night and they got them on Saturday evening. So now that i got the sock thing doe i must go buy some sock yarn! Besides that nothing new to report we worked a little on our bathroom but then hubby decided that we needed new wiring ( which we do badly) so with work he has not been able to do much but hopefully this weekend we will get some more done in there! With all this snow we've got in the past couple of days u think i would want to knit more but i don't i have just been cleaning my house like its spring! HMM...... Maybe just maybe my body knows that springs will be here in a few weeks so its trying to save me time to more fun things! Yeah... yeah that's what it is! ( Wishful thinking huh??) Well off to do some more laundry and get to finishing up my sample sock!!!

Its Been 10 Days ...

Well its been ten days and no time to myself yet!!! LOL I am making it apoint today when the kids take a nap i will be turning a heel! I am determined nothing will stop me today!!Since i havent had time to work on the socks i have been knitting tribbles lots of them! i am also in the process of painting my bathroom and adding some new fixtures! So i have been doing that at nap time! I cant wait for it to be done. Iwanted a bathtub but it is just not in the budget. Boo- Hoo, So leave the shower and just paint and add some new fixture to give it a new look! OK on to read some of my fav blogs!!!!

Socks.....

Well this weekend i have been trying to learn how to knit socks! They are not as hard as i thought except for when i get to turning the heel with 2 small kids and a husband who needs attention when he has the weekend off it gets difficult to learn this in peace and quiet. But i can admit that i was awfully afraid of trying something new and now that i have i feel like i am a new knitter with so much in front of me ! I can even try sweaters now because im not afraid of useing 5 dbpns at once ! So i have been searching ravelry for a nice cute toddler sweater to make my daughter! I also have been searching for a nice pair of socks to make both my kids but the yarn i had picked is awfully splitty and drives me crazy!! So i must find some new yarn to use! Well off to try and learn how to turn a heel! Wish me luck!!!

Time goes to quick!!!

Well it seems lately there isnt enough hours in a day to do everything thast needs to be done!!! Hopefully once all the birthdays are done i will have enough time to have my own time! Room is all done

Ok, well i finished the room that same day, just havent had time to post the pictures! So its pretty well organized but let me tell u i need to add some more yarn to my stash very soon!!! Yesterday i knitted the ivy dishcloth very fun and fast! Today i plan on finishing the waffle knit one and my other tribble i am making! those tribbles are so cute and fun to make! Then i need to knit up the owl washcloth so a very busy knitting day ahead! Well here are the pictures of the room! Kids love it they play in there with their play-doh all day!!!

Oh and Ki-Kis boo is healing nicely she has two more stitches to fall out! I've already started to put the mederma on it!

Today is Cleaning day!

(picture above is Room Before)Well today is cleaning day! I'm am going to turn my craft room back into my craft room! For about 6 months we had let a friend live with us so i had to clear it out and give him the room! URGH!!!! Well just last weekend he decided he was gonna quite working for hubby and get a different job! So he moved out without telling us anything whatever!!! That's fine I'm happy that i will get my room back so today that is what I'm hoping to accomplish! I will post the after picture when i am all done !!! Wish me luck!!!

Very Busy Knitting Weekend

well i started late friday night an das of today I have finished 3 tribbles andhave a half of a waffle dish rag done!!! I am so happy!!! i love the tribbles have to make my mom some and make myself a couple of more! My kids love the ones i make them they use them in the shower!!! And through all the knitting i watched all 3 of the Blade movies, Alien 1, Predator 2 and 2 basketball games!!! GO CAVS!!!!!!! So i had an ok weekend besides the kids running around like crazy people it was pretty nice!!!!!! After this basketball game i will be watching another movie not sure what yet but will find one!!! And hopefully finishing up the waffle dish rag!!!!

Well Ki-Kis stitches are looking great!!! None have feel out yet but soon they said it would take 5-8 days and closer to 8 days for her since she takes showers not baths! Then after that well hubby bought mederma since he doesnt believe in the co-co butter! So hopefully her scar fades!!!

1 FO so far this year!

Well i finished the pocket book slippers yesterday! I love them they are so darn cute! But i have such tiny feet that my feet swim in them so i will have to scale mine down a bit! But my mom will be getting these ones! I hope she likes them as much as i do!!! Oh and i have to find a way to scale it down enough to make my daughter a pair the whole time i was knitting those ones she was like " mommy is that mine shoe!" So then i would tel her no and she would get all disappointed and i finally told her i will make her a pair she was so excited to hear that!!! So today im surfing websites and blogs to see if i can find a new project to start! i did find this cute hat on ravelry, i think i will give that a shot one for my son one for daughter! Let u know how that goes!! But i do need to clean my house today so hopefully i will have enough time to cast something on my needles!!!!!
On other news my daughtes head is looking so much better it is healing so well!!! I cant wait for the stitches to fall out!!! Then i can start adding my butter!!!! Well off to clean hope to get it done quick!!!

Well Monday was a horrible day!!! My daughter fell and busted her head!!! OMG did i freak she had this hole in her head no blood but a hole deep enough that i could see fat and some white stuff my reaction was to pinch it together and call my husband to come get us. Well as im holding it i tell my 4 year old son to go grab mommy a towel and he trys to hide and i tell him no no dont hide g get me a towel so he runs in the bathroom and comes out with a square of toilet paper! So then my mom shows up and i tell him never mind let maw- maw in! So he does and gives my mom the toilet paper for ki-kis head! I was trying so hard not to cry but i just couldnt help myself!! So then my husband shows up and we take her to the hospital and she has to get one stitch on the inside of it cause it was so deep and 5 on the outside! I stood outside for a while then came back hopeing they were done . Nope not yet so as im standing there crying i hear her scream MOMMMY!!!!!! It felt like a knife went in my heart i wanted to rush in and save her but i knew that they were just helping her! So what did i do i cried and cried and cried!!! I felt sooooo bad!!!!so then we wake up the next morning and she is fine as can be but not me i look like a hot mess! my eyes are swollen from cryin and i just look a mess!!!! But im glad she s not in pain no more! Today she wakes up and it already looks so much better i am so happy i hope she doesnt have a bad scar when it heals all the way the doctor said that in about 9 months we will be able to tell how it will basically look for the rest of her life so i have to wait the 9 months but coavoa butter will be out after these stitches are gone and be put on everyday 2 times a day!!!
