I am Back!!!

Well i am back finally !!! I always stop blogging right before summer but this time i stopped a lot sooner to help my fiend deal with her divorce and well since i did that i figured i would come back a little sooner then normal!!! I had a great summer with the kids and the hubby!!! I did teach myself how to crochet about a month ago but I'm still trying to remember the way to do certain stitches lol!!!! I know I'm back to my knitting and now crocheting! So i will be posting on a regular basis again!!! Bye for now!

Nothing new!

Well i have nothing new to report! Just been busy with kids and friends! My one girlfriend and her husband are getting a divorce and wow that's all i can say! I feel so bad for her! She doesn't even want the divorce but he does after 12 years hes ready to give up! Its funny cause i went to school with her and my husband went to school with him! My husband and him graduated together and me and her graduated together it was funny! They were the last of the high school loves besides me and my husband who are still together and now it is officially we are the only ones out of four sets of us me and my husband have lasted and still going strong so i have no worries! It will be 9 years for us in July so i am excited for us but i still feel sooooo bad for her!!! Well besides that there really isn't anything new to report, oh besides that i have been babysitting this little girl my dad and step mom adopted shes gonna be 5 in October and shes not even close to being potty trained aaaaaggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I cant believe it!!!!!! Better go and catch up on some reading!!!!

HAA! I did it !!!

Well i did it i turned a heel now i am just finishing up my sample sock! No picture yet but as soon as i am finished i will post a picture! Now be warned it is a sample sock so its a bright orange!! over this past weekend i knit 2 scarves one for my sister D & one for my sister B! They loved them because not only were they cute but matching! Also i had finished them in about 1 day i started Friday night and they got them on Saturday evening. So now that i got the sock thing doe i must go buy some sock yarn! Besides that nothing new to report we worked a little on our bathroom but then hubby decided that we needed new wiring ( which we do badly) so with work he has not been able to do much but hopefully this weekend we will get some more done in there! With all this snow we've got in the past couple of days u think i would want to knit more but i don't i have just been cleaning my house like its spring! HMM...... Maybe just maybe my body knows that springs will be here in a few weeks so its trying to save me time to more fun things! Yeah... yeah that's what it is! ( Wishful thinking huh??) Well off to do some more laundry and get to finishing up my sample sock!!!

Its Been 10 Days ...

Well its been ten days and no time to myself yet!!! LOL I am making it apoint today when the kids take a nap i will be turning a heel! I am determined nothing will stop me today!!Since i havent had time to work on the socks i have been knitting tribbles lots of them! i am also in the process of painting my bathroom and adding some new fixtures! So i have been doing that at nap time! I cant wait for it to be done. Iwanted a bathtub but it is just not in the budget. Boo- Hoo, So leave the shower and just paint and add some new fixture to give it a new look! OK on to read some of my fav blogs!!!!

Socks.....

Well this weekend i have been trying to learn how to knit socks! They are not as hard as i thought except for when i get to turning the heel with 2 small kids and a husband who needs attention when he has the weekend off it gets difficult to learn this in peace and quiet. But i can admit that i was awfully afraid of trying something new and now that i have i feel like i am a new knitter with so much in front of me ! I can even try sweaters now because im not afraid of useing 5 dbpns at once ! So i have been searching ravelry for a nice cute toddler sweater to make my daughter! I also have been searching for a nice pair of socks to make both my kids but the yarn i had picked is awfully splitty and drives me crazy!! So i must find some new yarn to use! Well off to try and learn how to turn a heel! Wish me luck!!!

Time goes to quick!!!

Well it seems lately there isnt enough hours in a day to do everything thast needs to be done!!! Hopefully once all the birthdays are done i will have enough time to have my own time! Room is all done

Ok, well i finished the room that same day, just havent had time to post the pictures! So its pretty well organized but let me tell u i need to add some more yarn to my stash very soon!!! Yesterday i knitted the ivy dishcloth very fun and fast! Today i plan on finishing the waffle knit one and my other tribble i am making! those tribbles are so cute and fun to make! Then i need to knit up the owl washcloth so a very busy knitting day ahead! Well here are the pictures of the room! Kids love it they play in there with their play-doh all day!!!

Oh and Ki-Kis boo is healing nicely she has two more stitches to fall out! I've already started to put the mederma on it!
